How to manage Reseller Accounts on your WHM server • Reseller is a special kind of account in cPanel/WHM that can create and own other cPanel accounts. Resellers on a cPanel/WHM server gets access to WHM like you do as root, with some limitations depending on the setup of accounts. • In resellers tab, start with Show Reseller Accounts option. You can view a list of all accounts on the system, grouped by the owner. By default, all accounts are owned by root user. • Go to Reseller Center. Tools in first block of the page allow you to add reseller privileges to a standard account or remove them from an existing reseller. Scroll down. • Final 2 blocks of tools allow you to perform various options on resellers and accounts they own. Before you perform any actions in the second block, be sure that correct reseller account is selected in drop down menu. • You can also change the ownership of one or multiple accounts using these links. Email all resellers with the above link and reset reseller privileges with the link. • These 2 tools allow you to select which IPs are available to reseller and which IP should be used as main shared IP. • Go to Edit Privileges/Nameservers. For a better view, you can frame in it’s own tab in the browser. Tick the checkboxes according to the various conditions. Fill in all other entities required in the form and click on Add all or Remove all privileges option to proceed. • After you have completed the whole form, click on Save All Settings button …

How to download and install WHMCS • Installing WHMCS is a simple process, as long as your server meets all the system requirements. • Generally, any server running a control panel, such as cPanel or Plesk will meet the requirements. If they are not met, you will be notified about it during the process. • You need to purchase a license for WHMCS. • Click on Client Area to log in. Fill in email address and password. Click on Login button to proceed. You can click on Remember me button for retaining the details in your system. • Go to My Products/Services section. Locate the correct license on the page. • Scroll down and find the Download section and then download the latest version of WHMCS. If you do not see any downloads, you need to contact WHMCS support department. • Once the file is downloaded to your computer, extract the archive. • Scroll down and remove .new from the configuration file’s name. With the renamed file, upload the entire WHMCS folder to your FTP server. • WHMCS code is encrypted; loncube loaders are needed for it to function. Your server might have already installed them. If it does not, you will not be able to proceed any further. • There should be an ioncube folder in the archive extracted by you. Simply upload the folder inside WHMCS directory you just uploaded.
