How to configure an email account in Eudora Create your new email account in your web hosting account, typically from cPanel. Setting up your account through Eudora means that you will be able to access your account through that medium. Go on Tool link on the task bar and click on options. The options window appears with the entities of Real name, Email address, Incoming mail server, User name, SMTP server and an option to allow or disallow authentication. Enter all these details. SMTP authentication means Eudora will login in to your mail server, even when sending mails, ensuring that you are the only one sending emails from your account. Click Ok button, when finished. The email account is set up successfully and you can now send and receive emails through Eudora. You can click the ‘Personalities’ tab to check the properties. It will give you option to make changes in real name display, server settings etc. Click on Ok button, when you’ve finished it. On personalization section, make right click on it again and then select new. You can always set up an email account from this option.
