Portuguese Web Host PTisp Offers R1Soft Continuous Backup Protection

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Portuguese web host and domain registrar PTisp (www.ptisp.pt) announced on Thursday that it will now offer routine CDP backups using R1Soft CDP software with all of its shared hosting plans. The company says it will also offer CDP backups as part of its VM solution and as an add-on service to dedicated server plans.

“Backups are a critical component of our type of business,” Luis Inverno, PTisp’s chief technology officer said in a statement. “Providing a good, affordable backup service will not only help keep our customers happy, but will also bring us new customers swayed by the trust that with PTisp, their data will be safe and sound.”

PTisp says that it chose the software based on its low-impact backups and its Bare-Metal Restore capability. The company also says that using CDP, it can create multiple users with specifically assigned privileges.

Brazilian Web Host NetRevenda Offers R1Soft Continuous Data Protection
