    maybe you have figure it out by now , you can run the mysql wizard again and again until it work , the configuration wizard is in the following path
    C:webservermysqlbinMySQLInstanceConfig.exe

    Hey ! Thanks for the video but i cant start apache !
    Here is the problem : Windows could not start the Apache 2.2 on local computer. For more information review System Event Log, if this non a Microsoft service, contact the vendor and refer to service-specific error code 1. What can i do ?

    I think you need to install the gd2 extension it sould be listed in the long list of extension when installing php..

    Thanks for your video! It helped me get PHP and apache working after 8 hours of no luck. However I think it didn’t install everything? I’m getting an error that a function doesn’t exist….any suggestions?

    Call to undefined function ImageCreateTrueColor()

    you may have an issue with your php configurations if your only displaying code. If the code was being executed then it SHOULDN’T be visible. Hope it helps some. GOOD LUCK!

    okay i went through the entire video no problem, including adding in the index.php.. but when i add in my own code staff.php and go to localhost/staff.php it shows a white page? but source code shows up? NO ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE PORTS!? what else?

    @ 2.07 we can see that there are many options and apache 2.2.x is selected. while i tried to install php, i get only two option IIS FastCGI, Other CGi and do not setup a web server ..can someone tell me why i dont have the other options or which one of these 3 must i select. pl z

    I have dowload php-5.2.17-nts-Win32-VC6-x86.msi
