In this video I will show you how to get started on creating your own Website by downloading and installing XAMPP, which contains already set up versions of Apache and MySQL. The source code used in this video is available from my Website: goo.gl [ In the next video we will create a database with tables in phpMyAdmin and start to write a Content Management System. ]

    @adamdmasi.i received ur mail, but i followed the instruction given to me and thats were i saved the file C:xampphtdocsexample.php, so how come he didn’t work, am using window 7, pls reply immediately for urgent assistance

    That means that the file isn’t saved to C:xampphtdocsexample.php, you’ll need to move it to there for it to work.

    @adamdmasi. thanks alot for the guild lines, i hav done it all but when i click on my browser (localhost/example.php what i saw was Object not find, so i want to know why.waiting for an urgent respond thanks

    am almost done with the downloading and installation of XAMPP which contains setup version of Apache and MySQL, but i can’t  find any source code that i have to put on my notepad++, pls i need an instruction…waiting for a kind respond

    You can use your own installation of MySQL, however you need to be sure it’s running when you want to run your PHP code.
