Great tutorial. I have added another query at the bottom just before sending out the mail to the owner informing of campaign end. I want to use the same emails multiple times say every month. so i just reset the received field to 0 after all the emails are sent once.

Hi Adam, great tutorial. I’ve got a little question though – is it possible for the $msg_to_user to be display in an alert box instead, and how?
I hope u see this soon enough for me to implement it in my exam project.

Could you reupload your newsletter?
Address you gave us doesn’t work.
Thanks in advance.

Great tutorials as usual Adam. My question is after firing off all of the newsletters and everyone gets a “1” in the received field, do you have to go in and reset that field to “0” again in order to fire off say the next month’s newsletter?

Thank you so much for all of our videos. I love the way you teach, you’re so funny at times. I love the line about the loser!
I’ve learned so much from your videos. It’s still very hard, especially the variables between php and the mail forms, etc, but I just keep watching and trying. Thanks again

HOW DO YOU PUT IT BACK TO 0

thanks Adam!

great tutorial. I have been trying to do this efficiently for a while. The closest i got was php smartmailer but it was sending multiple emails every time.
I just have one question. What is the best way the reset the “received” field value back to 0 to setup for the next blast? I assume this is why the previous comment coild only send 1 blast.

My only criticism is that your Opt-Out script does not do enough to avoid someone to maliciously delete a lot of emails from your mailing list by simply changing the $_GET variables.
Your Opt-Out script should delete by using the ID and EMAIL (perhaps other variables to further remove the possibility of someone guessing right) rather than just EMAIL. Deleting based solely on matching an email address leaves you too vulnerable.

Adamn, I really hope you can help me with this one. I fired my newsletter by typing in the extension in the browser, and it worked. I also did the Cron Job to automate it. But somehow, I’m not receiving more newsletter, i have to unsubscribe and relist again to receive the newsletter, it seems that only works once. I set the Cron Job to work daily but didn’t send a second one. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Adam, I looked too long for this information. I really appreciate what you are doing, once I start making money with my business, I’ll deff. donate sum bucks. Keep up the good work.

one suggestion from me, you may want to add some text to the blast page to tell you it is “now sending”…LOL I’m a dufass…I tried firing and just kept sitting there staring at a blank page waiting for something to happen…
But It Works !! WOOHOO
Thanks soooo much Adam, you ROCK!!

7 people have rated this? Really??
Come on now…. If we all want to keep learning we really need to take the 5 seconds it takes to log in and rate high !!
Adam has put in some serious time and effort to help us all out

I love they way you teach, with all the stupid crap and such (quote: “okay loser, you won’t ever get any email from us again… “) hilarious
PHP is a bit hard for my brains (well so it seems), but I will give it a try anyway…

thanks so much Adam,

Manually would be just go to that file in browser to run it… but most would want to automate it. Which is what cron job, and my next video is going to cover.
