Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. Thank you for changing our technology, our culture, and the world for the better. This video features the gaming capability of the April 2010 released 13″ MacBook Pro. Playlist: www.youtube.com This video showcases Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction gameplay on the new 2010 MacBook Pro 13″. Here are a few things to note: this is running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit under BootCamp. The graphics settings are shown in the video. The actual framerates are shown at the top right corner of the screen. I also connected a USB keyboard so I won’t block the camera. The framerates in the game is not very impressive, but to be fair, this game is horrendously ported for the PC. Even on a high-end PC, the game struggles to produce decent framerates. This video was made because it was requested by a viewer. I do apologize for the camera quality of this one, as well as the glare/reflection, and angle. It was a bit rushed. @AnonymousEpidemic13 I wouldn’t call 25-35 running “well”. I wouldn’t bother playing if it’s not at least 40+ FPS. Don’t expect to play games made in the past 2 years on a mac. I have one, its nice and all, but it’s not made for gaming. Build a top end gaming PC for $600 or buy a console.

how did you get it to run so well, i have the same model macbook pro mid 2010 and the frame rate is ridiculous.

  16. MRingsted Says:

@dmoneydmo go to finder and press shift cmd G and then type /private/etc/ in that map there should be a file named hosts, delete that file and you should be good to go. It worked for me 🙂

  17. mastertracuer Says:

@dmoneydmo I had the same problem. Mine wouldn’t launch, but i found out it was because I didn’t have Snow Leopard. Then when I was able to play it, it was laggy as hell and ive put the setting way lower than this guy and it wont run.

  18. dmoneydmo Says:

@teknoplayer They released it for the mac beginning of this month on steam I could run it on both pc an mac,the first time I launched it it worked fine except for the lag but now it won’t even launch. Plus the people running it on a mac with windows on it are having the same problem.

  19. teknoplayer Says:

@dmoneydmo It’s a game for windows, you have to install windows on your mac first.

  20. dmoneydmo Says:

Question, I just bought this game off of Steam for my mac book pro(same as his)and I’m having issues launching the game,I’m not sure if you bought the game from there or not but does anyone know how to fix that. I know a lot of people are having this problem where there stuck at the Ubisoft launcher, any info will be greatly appreciated.
