    replace the code between filter tags in these files: page_edit_parse.php and page_new_parse.php with this:

    $str = $_GET[‘pagetitle’];
    $strClean = preg_replace(‘#[^A-Za-z 0-9]#i’, ”, $str);
    echo $strClean ;

    $str = $_GET[‘linklabel’];
    $strClean = preg_replace(‘#[^A-Za-z 0-9]#i’, ”, $str);
    echo $strClean ;

    $str = $_GET[‘pagebody’];
    $strClean = preg_replace(‘#[^A-Za-z 0-9]#i’, ”, $str);
    echo $strClean ;

    old filter function is deprecated. by the way, i use ckedit.
    learning is a pleasure…

    Quick question: why do you put the form in the html page file, rather than in the database to be printed to it?

    Love the tutorials and had to comment to say thanks. Your flashbuilding site has helped to answer soooo many of my questions and helped to make sense of many things that I have spent hours trying to learn. Tables rock to the degree that you use them!! I do have one question, how would I do a CSS menu with subheadings with the Php MySQL CMS site? It would really help!!

    Once again, THANKS!!!

    PS.. what happened to the source files? You went pretty fast for a noob, and they would make it easier to view while trying to build my own.

  15. kwvideo Says:

    “Oops! File not found at this location” I’m getting on the source.

  16. rudolforomantico Says:

    ok, but PHP 5.3? 5.2? or older? I use 5.2 at the moment but wondering why i get so much errors. At first I used 5.3 and it gave a whole lot of deprecated errors. and undefined variable errors and such.

  17. flashbuilding Says:

    PHP 5… using the mysqli_ family of functions.
