Visit myownserver.info and read my notes before applying the fix listed in this tutorial. This tutorial explains how to install PHP 5.2.8 on your Apache 2.2.11 HTTP server and how to fix some of the dynamic library errors found when viewing the Apache error.log.

@Netfundu Well, because to me it doesn’t make much sense not to use the installer. There would be quite a few extra steps to doing it manually. I’ve done it once and learned how much I appreciate the auto-installer.

Why not make a video of PHP manual install on Apache.. That wld be gr8

where do I gwet the PHP fix

  22. networknerd007 Says:

I’m assuming you’re using the Window’s installer, php-5.2.8-win32-installer.msi ? You should see this list, although you CAN add PHP to Apache with a few configuration changes to your Apache settings.

I recommend doing this installation with XAMPP though, just because it’s MUCH easier than trying to install this manually.

i dont have that big list where you select the web server you want to setup (0:46 in the vid); i got only 3 options: otherCGI, fastCGI and ‘dont setup a web server’, what do i pick, or what to do? i did install apache 2.2.x and i did go to its directory…
