You might find this gruesome, but I want IPv6 to be like a 20 car pile up on a NASCAR circuit track. I want to see the network explode in a large… err.. hmmm… explosion. I want it to play out like a good time Hollywood car chase scene with random objects in the background erupting into balls of flame, the good guys flinging bullets out of their guns and the bad guys having dirty faces, thick mustaches… and I am really dragging out this metaphor aren’t I?

Before you think I am some crazed, ninja, anarchist is a penchant for watching things blow up with reckless abandon, I will justify my reasoning. Its purely paranoia.

Rarely have I seen testing days that go extraordinary well be a sign of good omens. In fact quite the opposite. The average beta test, soft opening, practice launch, and any other initial testing phrase you can think of that runs smoothly means that the software, hardware, object, small furry creature from Andromeda, technique, test, etc wasn’t tested hard enough.

So hopefully, IPv6 will launch, the network will crash several times, random trees in my backyard will catch on fire, and by the end of the day, the network comes online strong and the random trees cough up some ash and go back to being ordinary random trees.
