(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator Quality Technology Services (www.qualitytech.com) announced on Wednesday that financial services managed services provider Generic Network Systems (www.gnetsys.net) has chosen its Jersey City data center to host its latest expansion of the GNS platform. The terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
The move follows QTS’ $ 45 million increase of its revolving credit in March, bringing the total to $ 170 million.
Generic Network Systems managing director Robert Trangmar said the company was seeking a primary data center in the New York area that was carrier-neutral and offered network connectivity and data center features to meet the needs of its financial services customer base.
