    @Riflemanm16a2 Ok, so I wasn’t declaring which connection the command should use. Two things could have fixed this: “MySqlCommand command = conn.CreateCommand();” I accidentally typed “.. = new MySqlCommand;”. Also, since I accidentally typed the latter, I fixed it by typing, “command.Connection = conn;” instead. It’s amazing what some sleep can do 🙂 Great tutorial by the way.

    I keep getting “InvalidOperationException was unhandled” when I debug. This happened in my original program I was working on and in the exact replica I made of your program. What’s the deal?

    Hi Curtis, great work on the tutorials. I didn’t know about the conn.CreateCommand() method so good to pick something up.

    Would you be interested in doing a tutorial on working with datatypes between .net and mysql? (datetime conversions, Enums etc)
