My codes work well in chrome/firefox. But not in IE. Can you explain why this is so? Thank you!

@1646Alex that was LONG TIME AGO i know now

  13. 1646Alex Says:

@zainuintel Thats because you dont have wamp or xxamp

  14. 1646Alex Says:

@minifrij Do you have wamp or xxampp? Php is serverside, so it needs a server to work. Most people download a xxampp or wamp (Id recomend wamp) so they can test on there machines,.

Oh. One more thing. The other reason I use this editor, is because I can create databases, php scripts, and all of the above. It’s just that the php code makes me download that php code that I am typing.

  20. kittyhumor Says:

My only problem is I like the html editor I have. It’s completely free. I can access all feature’s for free. Not one of the features is for sale. I hate purchasing online.

  21. kittyhumor Says:

Am I using the wrong php editor? I am using HTML-Kit. Everytime I write the php scripts, it gives me the “File Download” thing you see just before you download a file. I get nothing. What php editor does the magic?

  22. HDGhostzz Says:

@cheatonly2win He is teaching PHP not HTML.

  23. SilverMagics Says:

@cheatonly2win I know, but generaly looking at the document. The way he layed it out to us. Anyhow this discussion is useless as this is a tutorial meant to learn you a specific thing.

  24. cheatonly2win Says:

@SilverMagics nope, you still need a doctype, charset and lots of stuff.

  25. SilverMagics Says:

@cheatonly2win its a tutorial. It is valid if it had body & head but as for the rest its pretty valid lol.
