A compare website hosting question:
Recently, when I attempt to upload jpegs to any sort of image hosting website (photobucket, imageshack, deviantart, yahoo email, facebook, instant messangers, etc) my computer is unable to do so. It goes into a forever loading screen, or says it is unable to process my request.
Assuming this could be a problem on my end, I ended up reformatting my entire computer and reinstalling windows. However, the problem persisted. I tried uploading things on other computers that share my internet connection, and they work just fine. I’ve also attempted to open up certain ports on my router, and relaxing the security of my firewall (even turning it completely off) but I’ve had no results.
I soon discovered that any images that were created on my computer BEFORE it started giving me this issue were able to be uploaded without any problems. It appears that only jpegs created recently are "corrupted". I’ve compared the properties of the two types of jpegs but have so far been unable to identify a difference.
I’m completely stumped on this problem :/ Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix or even identify the issue?
