Hmm… I’m able to access all the tabs EXCEPT for privileges after changing the password successfully. Help?

@edryl12345 mypass is the password I changed my password to. You are looking form the password line and it will have “” as the password which is nothing you will need to fill in your password between the quotation marks

i did everything in the video but when i open config.inc.php,there is no “mypass” in the password..i am using windows vista in my operating system..please help

@Badal2850 did you get it fixed?

  8. danscourses Says:

@Badal2850 Okay I am almost positive that if you change the config.inc.php password line back to ”; that you will be able to get back in with phpmyadmin. The problem is probably that you actually never changed the mysql password. I have done the same thing with the go buttons on the right hand side in phpmyadmin you have to hit the specific go button for that area that you are changing… give it a try and see if I am right

  9. danscourses Says:

@Badal2850 maybe you pressed the wrong “Go” button in phpmyadmin and the password was never actually changed… then if you went and changed the password in the config file you would get locked out. Try changing the password in the config file back to nothing and see if you can get in…

@Badal2850 Maybe I can help? What operating system are you using and what version of wampserver?

  11. danscourses Says:

@Badal2850 I said that would happen in the video

  12. Badal2850 Says:

I did everything as described in the video…Now I am LOCKED OUT!

i followed all your steps….MYSQL asks for password but error 1045 showing not able to connect when i click database persists……WAMP latest i downloaded it today…………is it because i changed some of my hosts file settings in system 32 during installing ADOBE afe months earlier…..

  16. vip3r6 Says:

@mockiii . I had the same problem, and now fixed it. Did you do the last step? Did you change the config.ing.php with entering your password. make sure your settings are the same like in the tutorial. If this doesn’t work, reinstall wamp server and don’t change any settings.

Excellent! Thanks very much. I have XAMPP. Although the file structure is slightly different I just searched for that file and added my password, save and refresh, and VOILA! I am back up and running!
