www.AiyeKnight.com Exporting and importing MySQL Database Files from one server to another, First Log into your control panel. Scroll down to the Databases section. Click on phpMyAdmin. Then choose the database name that you want to save. Click on The Export tab. Make sure you have all database file highlighted and the SQL radio button is selected. Tick the “Add Drop Table/view/procedure/function/event” box. You can zip the database file. I’m just going to leave it to none. Click the Go button. You should have a file called “dot sql” save on to your hard drive. Log into your other server’s control panel. Scroll down to the Databases section. Click on MySQL Databases. Create a Database and User. Then go back to phpMyAmin and Import the SQL Database that you exported. Make sure you don’t get any errors. If you do then try to export the SQL file again. Then importing it. Don’t continue until your “Import has been successfully finished”.
