DewGuy1999 says
I forgot to mention it in my first comment but it should have an internal hard drive with an OS installed on it. Unless there’s something wrong with it, it should be bootable.
DewGuy1999 says
Try zapping the PRAM by holding down the Command + Option + P + R keys while pressing the power button, continue holding until you hear the chimes sound 3-4 times and then let up on the keys, if you’re lucky it will find the startup disk. I believe that arrow key arrangement was only used on that compact keyboard design as I have a Performa 600CD from that same time period that came with a Apple Exetended Keyboard II and it has the standard arrangement.
Nikiaf says
as far as i know, that’s a non-standard keyboard design. I have a packard bell keyboard from 1995 which doesn’t even have windows keys on it, but has the arrow keys in the usal up arrow on top with the other three on the bottom.
280zrunner says

Don’t feel afraid to crack it open! It’s really easy and you can’t really screw it up on those old computers!
You can always try making your own disks by downloading it for free from Apple.com
