    Hello, I got a problem when doing this. When im typing in the username and password i get this message: ERROR 2002: Can’t connect to local MySQL server.
    Help me pls

    Try changing ‘localhost’ to ‘127.0.0.1’ in your config.inc.php file

    That is set when installing the MySQL Server.

    Yes, it should work fine. Just make sure you disable UAC in Vista to avoid conflicts.

    hi i followed every step, but when i type in the localhost/phpmyadmin/setup/index in my web browser, it doesn’t take me to the interface shoen in the video, it shows only some php codes instead.

    I know how those 3:51 AM nights are. I’ve stayed up several nights, especially when you are trying to solve something and for some reason you tell yourself it has to be done and can’t wait til after you sleep a few hours.
    That’s probably why I got burned out on developing the website. Burning the candles at both ends.
    It was a lot of fun doing it though.
