Great Video. Once the user can get past the API, amazon delivers a robust and lightening fast service. Thanks for showing how easy it is. I’ve known about ec2 and s3 for a few years but have not taken the time to set anything up. Recently i deployed a static site on cloudfront using route 53, s3 and cloudfront. It’s lightening fast and extremely dependable! Great video!!

    aggreed.

  19. swcom Says:

Please, for the love of God-fade out the music track after ten seconds because: 1. It is too LOUD in the mix. 2. It is not that great as a layer track. 3. It is distracting to the viewer. 4. It makes the approach seem low(er) budget than it is.

Are there any ways to try out EC2 free of charge? I’m just a developer interested in learning the latest development in cloud computing rather than running my biz appls in their servers.

Very well done. I’ll be sure to pass it on to my colleagues.

For the record, I thought the music was a nice touch.
